Faith makes the heart sing. It gives the soul freedom to soar to the heights of joy. It makes a Christian want to “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”
Now is the time to give your faith a melody other people can hear. You can become a part of the church music ministry and develop your ability to give expression to your faith through music. It's simple, and the rewards are great to you and to others.
Join a choir this month. You may think you can’t sing well enough to be part of a choir, but you may be wrong. Most people can sing when they have others to sing with them.. In choir we help each other develop our talents for singing. Even if you’ve never sung in a choir before, you should not assume you can’t make a contribution to worship through music. Attend a choir rehearsal for a few weeks and surprise yourself at how quickly you can refine your musical ability.
Music is an important part of worship. It gladdens the hearts of those who sing. It prepares the minds and hearts of the people to receive the gospel when it is preached. It warms the hearts and spirits of all who participate. When you become a part of the church’s music ministry, you will allow God to speak through you to those who need His presence in worship.

What do you think of when someone says, "Let's Worship together"? Here at Zion we believe that worship is our response to God's revelation of who He is and what He has done. We believe that worship should be a celebration and that we should "shout joyfully to the Lord..." [Psalm 100].
Worship above all is our expression of love and adoration of God. He is the "Audience of One". Therefore everything that is done and said in worship needs to be with God the Father, Jesus the Son, and The Holy Spirit as the focus.
We are to worship in "spirit and in truth" [John 4:24] which brings both our emotions and our minds to the worship service. That is why our 10:45 am service is a blended worship service that is orchestra and choir based. We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary choruses along with gospel songs and traditional anthems. Our 8:30 am worship service is more traditional in nature.
As Christians we need to live our lives each day as Living sacrifices in worship. Worship is something we do all the time, anywhere. We are commanded to assembly together for worship and we invite you and your family to join us each Sunday for worship, celebrating our Risen Lord.
