Even though Easter Sunday is now behind us, the truth of Jesus’ resurrection remains with us every day. And as it does, the Holy Spirit beckons each of us to look deeply within our hearts to examine our commitment and devotion to Him. This truth, in which believers reside and find their salvation, is deeply personal and powerful, and Satan wants nothing less than to “skew and undo” what Jesus has already done.
Jesus taught His disciples that “the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy,” and Satan has never deviated from his nefarious plan. So, are believers still adversely affected by his efforts? Unfortunately, yes … but Jesus goes on to say, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly!”
This Sunday we took a collective look at“What Has the Enemy Stolen?” (I Sam. 30:3-11, 15-19; Jn. 10:10; I Pet. 5:8; Rev. 2:2-4) and are confronted with Jesus’ unrelenting desire for believers to rest securely in Him!
